Media said that in order to reduce the impact of products on the environment, Apple now provides a separate repair service for the glass back of the iPhone 12 series. In the past, the back cover could not be replaced independently.
According to MacRumors, Apple has arranged the iPhone Back Cover for four iPhone 12 series. The back cover and back glass do not include the screen and rear camera lens module. It is reported that all markets where iPhone 12 is sold now have a new maintenance program. If iPhone 12 series users accidentally break the back glass, they can go to the Apple Store or authorized service provider to repair and replace the back cover. For the original machine to be repaired, both the rear lens and the screen must be in good condition to be eligible.
However, when Apple customer service replied to MacRumors inquiries, it said that the accuracy of third-party platform information cannot be guaranteed and that there is no reference fee for repairing the back cover for the time being. The detailed plan and cost still need to be explained to you after the store’s inspection.
